OPENBARS 1
Welcome to Openbars, Perth's only Freestyle competition using home grown beats!
Using a round robin format (every participant versus every participant once), competitors take 4 & 8 bars each, going back and forth until the end of the round.
Freestyles are scored on being first and foremost, 'off the top'. If it feels like a written, then the judges will score it lower. So make sure you use what's happening as fuel for the fire.
All raps will be over beats from Perth, curated by Rae & Empty.
Featuring Archi, Silvertongue, Beckon, Macshane, Cruz Patterson, Wisdom 2th, Cash KRZMA, Adam Crook, Bluntfield, Split Figure & Powza. With Roc Walla, Optamus and Mathas judging.

Colab is Perth's longest running open-mic freestyle night and falls on the second Sunday of every month. You can expect some of Perth's best MCs to come down and present their amazing lyrical improvisations to an equally-extemporaneous band, which this month will be comprised of:
